Simulated indoor temperatures and growth performance of pigs PIGSYS

Indoor temperature and associated growth performance of pigs housed in the fattening room are simulated with ThermiPig, a model developped as a part of the Pigsys ERA-Net project (co-funded under EU Horizon 2020 RI program (Grant Agreement n°696231) and the French ANR (Grant n°ANR-16-SUSN-0003-02)). The overall performances of 30 virtual batches of 96 pigs are simulated under French or Swedish climates, or virtual constant outdoor temperatures (ranging from 0 to 35°C), and different wall conductivities.
